NASCAR: One Question Facing Each Driver Ahead Of 2015 Season
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports
Trevor Bayne (RFR) – Will Bayne win in his first full-time season?
In 2015 Bayne will run a full-time Sprint Cup Series schedule for the first time in his career.
Bayne has already won on the Sprint Cup level, that win came back in 2011 when he won the Daytona 500 with the Wood Brothers. Bayne will be taking the spot of Carl Edwards at RFR which means that he will have some big shoes to fill. Edwards was the only driver to win for RFR in 2014 and Bayne hopes that he can bring in his own share of wins in 2015.
Bayne has a lot of potential but it’s going to come down to what is under the hood. If Bayne wants to win in 2015 RFR is going to have to provide him with cars that are capable of winning. In 2014 Bayne failed to qualify for the only race that he attempted to run with RFR. On that day it was evident that RFR had not provided him with the best equipment, that cannot happen this season.
