Ryan Newman (RCR) – Will Newman keep his consistency from 2014?

Forget winning races!

Newman showed the NASCAR world in 2014 that winning races isn’t essential to running for a title. Then again, not winning the last race resulted in him not winning the title but even without a win he still wound up second in the points. Whether you think Newman will win this season or not it doesn’t really matter. All that matters for Newman is whether or not he can remain consistent.

If Newman wins a couple of race in 2015 and then come the chase has some bad finishes, he won’t make it to the final-four. If Newman can top-15 the series to death like he did in 2014, he might very well end up competing for another title; with or without a win.

Wins are nice by Newman fans will be the first to tell you that they are not everything.
