NASCAR: One Question Facing Each Driver Ahead Of 2015 Season
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports
Danica Patrick (SHR) – Will Patrick finally win or finish in the top-five?
2015 will mark Patrick’s third NASCAR season.
In her first two seasons in the sport Patrick has had a few ups and many downs. Although she did manage to improve last season, one would not have been able to tell if they simply looked at the final point standings. Patrick wound up finishing one spot worse in the point’s in 2014 than she did in 2013.
Despite dropping in the point’s there was plenty to cheer about if you’re a fan of the driver of the No. 10 machine.
Patrick picked up her career-best finish in 2014. She also drastically improved her qualifying runs this past season which put her in a position to run better. While some see these improvements as marginal, it’s hard to argue with better numbers.
That being said, 2015 is a big year. Patrick is in the last year of her contract with SHR. Current reports say that Gene Haas is looking to re-sign her and a strong 2015 campaign would only make him want her back more.
