Jeff Gordon (HMS) – Will Gordon win a title in his final full-time season?

The time of NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon is coming to an end in 2015. When the 2016 season rolls around the No. 24 machine will still be on the track but it will be Chase Elliott behind the wheel.

Gordon has not won a title since 2001 when he won his fourth championship. Since that last title Gordon and the No. 24 team have been on the ‘drive for five.’ In 2015 the ‘drive for five’ is going to come to an end and some believe that it will end with that title.

Gordon is coming off of a strong 2014 season. Last season might have seen Gordon challenge for the title in Miami had he not had a run-in with Brad Keseloski in Texas a couple of weeks prior. Keselowski aside, Gordon was still in the driver seat to head to Miami before Ryan Newman’s last-lap pass on Kyle Larson in the final race of the third round of the chase.

HMS will give Gordon all that they have to give this season and Gordon is sure to leave everything that he has in him out on the track.
