NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Atlanta

NOT – Kyle Larson
Kyle Larson came into 2015 with the weight of the world on his shoulders via all of the expectations that fans and critics had placed on him. After an amazing rookie season Larson was expected to light the world on fire right out of the gate this season.
However, that didn’t happen last weekend for the driver of the No. 42 machine.
Larson lacked speed for most of the weekend and it showed in his duel race. Larson was not able to qualify well for Daytona and the speed issues were helped but not solved come race time. Larson spent the majority of his day outside of the top-20 but he was hovering around the top-15 for the last restart of the race. Unfortunately, getting caught in the last-lap wreck didn’t help matters and Larson finished outside of the top-30 along with many other good cars.
Daytona was a struggle but look for Larson to bounce back this weekend in Atlanta.
