No.5 Jimmie Johnson becomes all-time leader in 1.5 mile-racetrack wins (2010).

After a race dominated by Jeff Gordon who led 219 laps Chad Knaus made the right decision during the last round of pit stops and put four tires on Jimmie Johnson’s car, while Gordon’s Crew Chief Steve Letarte opted for just two. After the following restart Johnson took the lead away from his teammate thanks to the fresher tires and went on to win the race, becoming the all-time leader in number of wins at 1.5 mile racetracks. Kevin Harvick passed Gordon as well and came home second, while Matt Kenseth won the battle for fifth place over a young Joey Logano in a photo finish.
