Greg Biffle running well but RFR still not looking good.

Towards the end of 2014 many people (myself included) were calling for the demise of Roush Fenway Racing. It wasn’t going to be a demise in the sense that they were going to disappear or close shop. Instead it was a demise in the sense of they weren’t going to be good in 2015 or the near future. When it’s all said and done that still might be the case but in the meantime Biffle is doing his part to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Biffle is 11th in the point standings after finishing 14th in Las Vegas. Sunday’s finish is a rebound from his 25th-place performance in Atlanta after his top-10 in Daytona to open the season. Biffle often complained or made reference last season about not having the kind of car that he needed. Translation being that RFR was not giving him a good enough car to compete and produce good finishes.

RFR is lucky that Biffle is off to a good start because the rest of the team isn’t. Trevor Bayne has finishes of 30th, 19th and 28th this season while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has finishes of 29th, 36th and 29th.
