NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Phoenix

HOT – Kevin Harvick

Of course Kevin Harvick is “hot” this week seeing as how he is on fire right now on the track. Harvick was on fire to end last season and he has kept that rolling through the start of the 2015 season. Harvick won this past weekend in Las Vegas making it his third consecutive top-two finish of the year. Dating back to 2014, Harvick has finished his last six races inside of the top-two. Throw in the fact that Harvick owns Phoenix and we all could very be looking at Harvick extending that top-two streak to seven this weekend.

After winning the title last season many wondered whether or not Harvick was going to be able to maintain that momentum coming into this season. Thus far Harvick has shown that he is more than capable of holding onto that momentum and that he is more than ready to repeat as the NASCAR champion.
