No. 4 – Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Many non-Earnhardt Jr. fans will scoff at his inclusion into this list but those folks need to understand that greatness is measured in various ways. Earnhardt Jr. has been the face of the sport for more than a decade now and that cannot be left unnoticed. Aside from his popularity he has also accomplished quite a bit on the track.

Earnhardt Jr. is a two-time Xfinity Series Champion (it was the Busch Series back when he won his titles). He is also a two-time Daytona 500 winner. Many drivers are lucky to win the Daytona 500 once (if ever) while Earnhardt Jr. has done it twice. He has 23 wins in his NASCAR career which has spanned over 15 years. The closest that Earnhardt Jr. has ever come to winning a title was in 2003 when he finished third in the standings.
