Good Week: Kyle Larson

Larson ended last week on a low note when he was admitted to the hospital after fainting the day prior to the STP 500 at an autograph signing. Larson would then spend the next few days in the hospital which caused him to miss the STP 500.

By the middle of this week Larson had not only been released from the hospital but he had also been cleared to race again. Larson will make his return to the track this weekend in Texas after only missing one race which is great news for him and his team. The other great news here is that doctors were not able to find any other major issues wrong with Larson. Hopefully the fainting was an isolated incident and moving forward Larson will not have any more medical issues.

The only downside here is that Larson took a bit of a hit in the standings from missing the race but that shouldn’t be too hard to overcome with 20 races left before the chase.
