Every race week Beyond The Flag’s series Checkered Countdown lets you take a look at what have been the best finishes to ever take place at the track that will host the Sprint Cup Series race that given weekend. This time we will review the five best finishes at Texas Motor Speedway, a fast and high-banked track built in 1996 that has in recent years seen Jimmie Johnson get to victory lane more than often. Johnson is the all-time leader in wins at this 1.5 mile racetrack with four victories and this is no surprise knowing his amazing skills on these types of ovals in which he absolutely excels. This is also the track where Dale Earnhardt Jr got his first Winston Cup win in 2000.

Be sure to comment below to let us know what you think of the countdown. Also, if you feel that we missed a good finish don’t be afraid to reach out to us via social media to let us know!
