NASCAR Xfinity Series at Texas Motor Speedway: entry list
After a couple of weekends off, the NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to action Friday night with the running of the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway near Fort Worth. The Texas race will be the sixth of the season for the Xfinity Series.
As a companion race to Saturday night’s Duck Commander 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the entry list for Friday night’s Xfinity showdown contains the names of several Sprint Cup regulars, including Austin Dillon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Denny Hamlin and Sam Hornish Jr. Also on the enntry list is Brandon Gdovic, making his Xfinity Series debut from behind the wheel of the No. 55 Chevrolet of Viva Motorsports.
There are 40 drivers on the entry list for Friday night’s race, so everyone who makes a qualifying attempt Friday evening will receive a spot on the race starting grid. Qualifying for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 is expected to get underway at 4:45 p.m. ET, weather permitting. The race is expected to take the green flag shortly after 8:30 p.m. ET Friday, again, weather permitting.
