Take 5: Five Things Worth Mentioning Heading Into Bristol

Streaking Towards History
Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. will continue their march towards the NASCAR history books this weekend in Bristol.
Through the first seven races of the season each of these three drivers has finished in the top-10 each time. Seven consecutive top-10 finishes to start the season is not a record but they are getting close to it. The record for the most top-10 finishes to start off a season is 11 and its is held by Morgan Shepherd who accomplished the feat in 1990.
If Logano, Harvick and Truex Jr. are able to continue the streak this weekend in Bristol they will each by at eight and possibly just four races away from making history. Of the three Truex Jr. is by far the most surprising seeing as how he is coming off of a 2014 season that was more than forgettable.
