Is It Hendrick Time?

Jimmie Johnson has been the class of the Hendrick Motorsports bunch in 2015 with his two wins but it might be time for someone else to step up on Sunday.

Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will all be looking for their first wins of 2015 at Bristol and each of them is coming into the event running well. Gordon is coming off of his best finish of the season at Texas and has strung together four consecutive top-10 finishes after a slow start to the season. Kahne has showed speed all season and was a threat to win last week at one point during the race. Kahne’s worst finish of 2015 is 17th and he will enter Bristol 5th in the point standings.

Earnhardt Jr. has been on fire this season aside from breaking shifter’s. In five of seven races Earnhardt Jr. has finished inside of the top-4. In those other two races he struggled but one of those was the shifter and the other was a wreck. If Earnhardt Jr. can keep his shifter together this weekend he could be the next member of Team Hendrick to visit victory lane.
