HOT – Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick

Some fans desperately want these two drivers to become enthralled in a heated rivalry. While that may happen as the season moves forward, for now they will simply remain as two of the hottest drivers in the series.

Johnson is coming off of a win in Texas, a place that he has dominated in his career. He will need to carry some of that momentum over to Bristol on Sunday after he didn’t qualify well on Friday. Johnson’s win at Texas was his second of the season and it guarantees him a spot in the chase regardless of what else happens this season.

Harvick has not finished outside of the top-10 in 2015. Sunday at Bristol Harvick will be looking for his eighth consecutive top-10 finish which would put him one step closer to the record of 11 that was set in 1990. Harvick also has two wins in 2015 and like Johnson he has already locked up his spot in the chase regardless of what anyone does.
