HOT – Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr.

2015 has been a playground thus far for Logano and Truex Jr. as they have both run very well. Through seven races both of them have managed seven top-10 finishes. On Sunday they (along with Kevin Harvick) look to run their consecutive top-10 streak to eight in a row. If they are able to continue their streaks on Sunday they will both be one race closer to the history books.

The record for the most top-10 finishes to open a season is 11 and it belong to Morgan Shepherd. Shepherd set the record back in 1990. Logano and Truex Jr. aren’t only looking for the record but they are also looking to maintain their success. After Shepherd’s 11 top-10 finishes he only had five more that season. Regardless of when Logano and Truex Jr.’s streaks end, both drivers will be looking to remain consistent all season long.

Another bonus for Logano is the fact that he dominated the Xfinity race on Saturday.
