NASCAR: Who Had The Best And Worst Week Ever (Kansas)

Better Week – Jimmie Johnson
Winning a race will makes anyone’s week a good one. Winning a race and moving into the top seed in the chase standings will take a good week and turn it into a great week.
Johnson did not have the best car on Saturday night but when it mattered he was out front and good enough to hold off Kevin Harvick for seven laps. Johnson has now won three times in 2015, Harvick is the only other driver to win more than once. Johnson’s win at Kansas further cements his legacy as a dominant driver on 1.5 mile tracks.
The win is also great in that it comes right before an off-week since there won’t be a point’s race this upcoming weekend. Johnson is looking primed to contend for his seventh title this season, a title that would tie him with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt for the most in NASCAR history.
