Odds and Ends

Here are a few odds and ends to put a bow on the rest of 2015.

  • Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards will finish the season ties for the most wins at JGR. My money is on them each winning two more times in 2015.
  • Although it looked promising a month or so ago, it doesn’t look like Danica Patrick will be winning a race in 2015 unless something drastic happens. I do foresee her returning to SHR though unless Martin Truex Jr. wins a title at which point I think SHR will make a run at him. I also foresee her getting her first top-five finish.
  • RFR will continue to struggle and not win a race in 2015.
  • Kyle Larson will win his first career race later this season and Austin Dillon will come close to winning but not be able to seal the deal.
  • Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski will right the Team Penske ship and both will make the final-eight in the chase.
  • There will be one surprise winner this season and it will happen at Daytona or one of the road courses.
