Last year’s Chase system, the first under the elimination format, provided an intense 10 races as drivers, peers, and fans were unsure who would be standing when the season finale came around. As a result, we saw Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Logano all contend for their first Sprint Cup championships with Harvick taking home the prize over Newman.

All four drivers were able to make it to Homestead-Miami through sheer strength and consistency, factors which will ultimately decide which driver is fit enough to take home the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship trophy in 2015. There have been several drivers step up this season to contend for the title, but ultimately only four will be standing come Homestead-Miami.
