Dorr, Michigan’s Bob Senneker is a Midwest short track racing legend, particularly in the ASA Series. Senneker raced the ASA circuit between 1973 and 1999 and won an astounding 85 races in 396 starts. In that time, Senneker raced against drivers like Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Dick Trickle and Alan Kulwicki. Senneker was also a frequent starter in the long-gone ARTGO Series where he amassed nine wins.

In addition to those accomplishments, Senneker won the prestigious Winchester 400 race seven times and took the crown in the 1982 All-American 400 at the Nashville half-mile. There were many more wins in Senneker’s which unfortunately aren’t documented and have sadly been lost in time.

Senneker only had eight career starts in NASCAR’s Cup Series, five of those coming during the 1983 season
