Kevin Harvick has always had a flair for the dramatic, which coined him the nickname, “The Closer.” Sunday’s race at Phoenix was no different. The great finish caused me to recollect and compile a list of Harvick’s greatest finishes.

In Sunday’s Good Sam 500, a late race yellow flag set up “Overtime,” where Harvick had to hold off a last-ditch effort from Carl Edwards. Edwards looked inside of “The Cactus King” coming off of Turn 4, and the two drivers slammed into each other twice coming to the finish line. Harvick edged Edwards by the closest of margins, 0.010 seconds. This matched the margin of victory in the Daytona 500, both of which are among the closest finishes of all-time.

This also became the closest finish in the history of Phoenix International Raceway. With two photo finishes in the first four races, the 2016 season is certainly shaping up to be fantastic for the quality of racing and finishes. The finish in the Good Sam 500 caused me to reflect on Harvick’s flair for the dramatic, which has given NASCAR fans some of the greatest finishes of all-time.

Here are the top five greatest finishes provided to us by “The Closer”:
