The Good Sam 500 delivered in a mighty way as the NASCAR world saw another incredibly close finish. Take a look at a few winners and losers from the race.

As the second race in a series of three for NASCAR’s western road trip, drivers in the Sprint Cup Series battled at Phoenix International Raceway, taking on the dogleg as well as a very hot track.

The race was dominated by four consistent drivers (Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr.), who all led at least 34 laps throughout the course of the day.

The story of the race, besides the thrilling .010 finish at the end of the day, was the low downforce package as it continued to provide great racing for all of the drivers. Even more passing was made through the field and during long green flag stretches, defeating recent history when cars would simply spread out and stay in one position.

As Kevin Harvick narrowly escaped with his eighth win at Phoenix, Carl Edwards made a late push, providing NASCAR fans with more great late-race excitement.

Here’s a few winners and losers from NASCAR’s most unique short track.
