NASCAR returned to Texas for the seventh race of the season. Check out a few winners and losers from the Duck Commander 500.

After a two-hour rain delay, the first night race of the NASCAR season got going at Texas Motor Speedway. The track was expected to be different from practice and qualifying due to the rain that fell throughout the day.

Kyle Busch, who had clinched a spot in the Chase just a week before at Martinsville, completed his second-straight weekend sweep by winning the race just one night after his Xfinity Series victory. On Saturday night, Busch was able to hang in the race when a massive wreck with 41 laps to go caused a caution, leading to his takeover.

The past few races at Texas have often been defined by a leader taking command of the race without much of a challenge. While there was two big leaders for the majority of the race (Martin Truex Jr. and Carl Edwards), it was much easier to catch and pass, especially throughout the rest of the field, thanks to the new aero package NASCAR has implemented.

There was plenty of slipping and sliding all night long as some were lucky enough to hold on, and some weren’t. After all was said and done, Kyle Busch’s win moved him to the top of the driver standings.

Take a look at a few winners and losers from the race.
