Winner: Constant Improvement

Austin Dillon has put in a tremendous amount of effort through the first eleven races of the 2016 season.

Dillon struggled to leave his mark on the Sprint Cup Series since joining back in 2014, but this season, he has looked like one of the most solid drivers week in and week out. With three top-5’s and six top-10’s, he is already working on his best year in NASCAR’s premier series.

At times this season, he’s even been seen challenging for the lead, like at Talladega last weekend where he had his best finish of the season (3rd), despite driving a car that had been repaired multiple times throughout the race.

His efforts were put in the spotlight again on Saturday night where he made steady gains throughout the second half of the race in order to earn a sixth-place finish. Dillon continued to show why he’s a superstar of the future for NASCAR as his impressive runs are putting him closer and closer to the first Cup Series win of his career.
