TV Tuner – Motorsports TV Schedule for May 19-22
By Alex Herbst
Motorsports will be a busy world this weekend. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Formula E take center stage for racing towards a championship this weekend, while Cup runs their all-star race and IndyCars qualify for the greatest spectacle in racing.
Racing this weekend takes on a new wrinkle, as the Sprint Cup Series runs their all-star race, meaning the Camping World Truck Series will be the only national NASCAR series racing for points. That’s not to say the Sprint All-Star Race will not be important or significant, as twenty drivers will race for their chance at one million dollars.
Meanwhile, in the open wheel world, Formula E and IndyCar will both be on track, but for two very different types of races. Qualifying for the Indianapolis 500 will be the focus stateside, while the top electric championship in the world races the streets of Berlin, Germany.
In other racing, the NHRA will be in action once again, this time from Topeka, Kansas, looking for another close finish like last week. The two-wheeled machines will be out as well, with MotoGP in Italy, and Motocross in Sacramento, California. Finally, if you like the rally cars, World Rally 2016 makes their next stop in Portugal.
