The 24 Hours of Le Mans is definitely a bucket list race for fans. Here are some of its most memorable moments.
The most historic endurance race in the world is one that attracts the attention of racers from nearly every discipline. And when the sixty cars roll on Saturday for the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend, much of the racing world will be watching again to see who wins in each of the four categories and take the overall top spot.
Drivers from all over the world flock to Circuit de la Sarthe in France each June to participate in the historic event. Supported strongly by manufacturers like Porsche, Audi, Nissan, Toyota, and Ford, the top racers from IndyCar, IMSA, Formula E, and F1 have graced the sports car world at Le Mans. It is truly a bucket list race not only for fans to attend, but also for drivers to participate in.
As we prepare to witness one of the longest races of the year in 2016, we take a look back at some of the historic moments, fantastic racing, and all the stories that make Le Mans so special.
