At least I do after seeing Tony Stewart’s performance the last couple of weeks in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Sure, Smoke is a long ways away from the performances that netted him three championships in his career, but his recent top-ten at Michigan and his great qualifying efforts the last few weeks are more than enough to give fans hope that something spectacular will happen for Smoke.

As for his best chance to nab himself a spot in The Chase?

That would probably be either Sonoma, Watkins Glen, or the July race at Daytona. Not only does Stewart have wins at all three of those tracks, multiple wins to be exact, they are also tracks that favor drafting, experience and/or fuel strategy, instead of just getting out of front and staying there for the entirety of the race.
