NASCAR welcomes back short track racing this weekend at Loudon. Take a look at five drivers who could master The Magic Mile.

The last time NASCAR visited a short track was back in mid-May, when the Cup Series competed at Dover International Speedway, but finally, short tracks are back, as New Hampshire Motor Speedway is the next track on the schedule.

Loudon is a unique track. From above it appears to be a bigger version of Martinsville, as the paperclip is 0.5-mile while Loudon is 1.0-mile.

With the first race at the track coming in the middle of the summer, heat becomes a major factor. Last season’s July race saw temperatures outside reach the 90’s, meaning temperatures in the car were a lot higher than normal. A few drivers even had to take a trip to the infield care center to get treated after the race.

With the Chase rapidly approaching, the intensity level is beginning to rise. Just eight races remain until the postseason begins.

Check out five drivers who could win on Sunday.
