The Daytona 500 is less than two weeks away and drivers are getting ready to compete in NASCAR’s biggest race of the season. Here are five drivers to watch during the Great American Race.

The NASCAR season is almost here with the start of the Daytona 500 on February 26th.

Of all the major sports in America, NASCAR has one of the shortest off-seasons but that doesn’t stop major changes from happening in the sport.

We’ll be seeing new rookie drivers, a major team shifting manufacturers, and the return of one of NASCAR’s most popular drivers. Almost the entire field of drivers from last year will be back and will be trying once again to win a championship, but which drivers will be the best to watch?

Which one of the new rookie drivers will be getting the most attention when the season starts? Eric Jones was the top rookie heading into 2017, but with Daniel Suarez taking over for Carl Edwards, which rookie will be in the spotlight more?

What about the new seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson; should fans start watching him now to see how well he starts off the season?

A solid run or even better, a win at Daytona would set the 48 team up to have a chance at making NASCAR history.

There is going to be a lot going on when the Daytona 500 starts. Fans will be cheering on their favorite drivers as the NASCAR season finally starts up once again.

When the Great American Race does start, these five drivers are who every NASCAR fan should be watching.
