The Daytona 500 is this Sunday and with it the start of the NASCAR season. Here are five predictions for the Great American Race this weekend.

Over 40 drivers will be competing in the Daytona 500 this Sunday, and each of them are going to try and do whatever it takes to make it to Victory Lane.

When the green flag does drop this Sunday for the very first race of the 2017 season, what can fans expect?

What type of racing will we see during this 200 Lap race? What drivers will be getting a lot of attention? Will Dale Earnhardt Jr. play a major role after sitting out of racing for so long? What about the rookie driver class? Which one will be the most impressive?

We saw a small preview of some of the racing Daytona has to offer last weekend during The Clash and during the Duels this week. When the real race starts though, driver may not be as aggressive.

Chase Elliott won the pole last weekend and dominated the first Duel on Thursday. Now the young driver will try to win the biggest race of the year, but has he learned enough from last season?

The start of the NASCAR 2017 season is finally here with the Daytona 500. Here are five predictions for the Great American Race this Sunday.
