Motorsports TV Schedule for March 2nd-5th
By Alex Herbst
We’re heading north from Daytona, with the motorsports TV schedule taking on races from the U.S. and beyond this weekend. Check it out.
The racing season is officially underway with the Daytona 500 in the books. Now, the full NASCAR season lays ahead for stock car racing fans. The next race up comes one state north of the Great American Race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. But the Peach State won’t be the only place filled with the revving of engines this weekend.
NASCAR is once again the biggest ticket in racing this weekend as they hit their first 1.5-mile oval of the year. All three national series will be in action at Atlanta Motor Speedway, with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday with the Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series. That will be followed on Sunday by the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
In other racing around the world, AMA Supercross takes the lead on Saturday night with racing from north of the border. The top riders on two wheels will race in Toronto, one week before invading NASCAR’s home in Daytona Beach.
