No two Verizon IndyCar Series schedules are alike. New venues are added as old ones are taken away, season by season. Which past venues need to me a re-entry onto the series schedule?

There are several tracks that the Verizon IndyCar Series has gone to over the past couple of years even that they do not currently race at. Some of those tracks are better than others, and a few of them.

Road and street courses as well as oval tracks that the series has raced on in the past are tracks that the series should make it a point to return to. While not all of the tracks I feel they should return to are on this list, these are the five that are best suited for a return in today’s series.

NOTE: While this list is separated into two categories, road/street courses and oval tracks, the rankings provided beside each listed track are from an overall standpoint.
