Sunday March 12th, 2017 is the third race of the 2017 NASCAR season as the Kobalt 400 will be taking place from Las Vegas. Be sure that you know all of the important race information; like when it starts, what channel it’s on and where to find live race streams.

The 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is underway and for the next couple of weeks NASCAR will be taking their annual West Coast trip. On Sunday the trip will begin with the Kobalt 400 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

NASCAR is coming off of a pair of Ford wins with Kurt Busch winning the Daytona 500 and Brad Keselowski stealing a win away from Ford teammate Kevin Harvick last weekend in Atlanta. Coming into the 2017 season JGR and Toyota along with Jimmie Johnson and Chevy were getting a lot of the headlines but it has been Ford’s show thus far. On Sunday in Las Vegas, Toyota and Chevy will both be looking to break into victory lane for the first time this season.

However you decided to enjoy the Kobalt be sure that you don’t miss a minute of the action. Aside from it being the third race of the 2017 NASCAR season, this is another chance to see the new format play out on the track. This is also the third chance this season for a driver to punch their ticket into the playoffs. Although a win right now doesn’t guarantee a driver a spot in the playoffs (there could always be more than 16 winners) it does put them in a good position for the rest of the season as they look to win more races and acquire more playoff points.
