The Kobalt 400 is over and Martin Truex Jr. is the next driver to win a race of the NASCAR season. As NASCAR gets set to continue their trip west, here are five lessons learned from Las Vegas.

While the NASAR Cup race itself was less than entering, Las Vegas turned out to have at least one exciting moment when it was all over.

The main story coming out of this weekend is not how Brad Keselowski’s car failed during the final laps, allowing Martin Truex Jr. to pass him for the win, it’s all about the fight between Kyle Busch and Joey Logano.

Regardless of what side you are on watching Kyle Busch walk up to Logano in the pits after the race and attempt to punch him is good TV for NASCAR.

But as NASCAR gets ready to head to Phoenix, where do they go from here?

While Brad almost won the race, Truex Jr. dominated this past Sunday and won every stage. A Ford driver didn’t win but we almost had the first three races won by Ford drivers. Is Toyota really at the same level?

And what ended up sparking the fight between Busch and Logano? Will these two continue to brawl in the coming weeks?

We continued to see the same drivers run well at Las Vegas that have already been running well. As we continue west should fans expect these drivers to continue running well or will we finally see some new faces finish in the top 10?

Before we get ready for the Phoenix race this coming Sunday, here are five lessons learned from the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
