NASCAR Team Power Rankings: STP 500 Edition

Many NASCAR fans will focus on the individual success of their favorite drivers and while that is great, NASCAR is still in many ways a team sport.

Due to NASCAR still being a team sport on many levels, each and every week Beyond The Flag will rank all of the top teams coming out of the previous race weekend.

This past weekend at Auto Club it was Chip Ganassi’s Kyle Larson getting the win. The win was the second of Larson’s NASCAR career and it snapped a streak of three second-place finishes in a row. Larson’s teammate Jamie McMurray also had himself a strong day with a top-10 run of his own.

While it was all roses for Chip Ganassi Racing, other teams did not enjoy the same success. How did your favorite team do this weekend? How did this weekend impact your team in the rankings heading into Martinsville?
