We cap off the month of April with another full weekend on the motorsports TV schedule, including NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, and more.

April roared in with lots of racing, and will exit much the same. Another full weekend on the motorsports TV schedule means NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, and more will cross across your television screens. So sit back, relax, and enjoy another busy weekend in the racing world.

Stock car racing continues their short track kick, heading from the bullring at Bristol to the action track at Richmond. Both the Xfinity Series and Monster Energy Cup Series will be on track, this time though with scheduled day races. Will someone knock Jimmie Johnson off his winning streak early in 2017?

Meanwhile, IndyCar runs their second race in as many weekends, moving to their first oval of the 2017 campaign. They will race deep in the desert, running the Phoenix Grand Prix at the Phoenix International Raceway. Who can conquer the short track for open wheelers for just the second time since unification?

Overseas, after much hoopla about Fernando Alonso, the Formula One world championship refocuses on racing as they descend on Sochi, Russia. Racing will come from the streets of the former Olympic venue, where Lewis Hamilton looks to steal the momentum back from Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.

In other racing series, there’s plenty more two- and four-wheeled action to see. Monster Energy AMA Supercross takes over the home of the Jets and Giants, racing at MetLife Stadium on Saturday afternoon. MotoAmerica, meanwhile, will race in the winding woods around Road Atlanta. Drag racing will be active too, racing four-wide style in Charlotte.
