Speculation: Chevrolet Teams

Chip Ganassi Racing

#1. [Initial Prediction: Jamie McMurray] — Jamie McMurray is in the midst of a career-best season at age 41. While he is still winless since the 2013 season, he is a legitimate championship contender this season even despite his recent struggles. Chip Ganassi Racing would be crazy to let him go elsewhere in 2018.. Chip Ganassi Racing. Chevrolet. JAMIE MCMURRAY

#42. [Initial Prediction: Kyle Larson] — As crazy as Chip Ganassi Racing would be to let Jamie McMurray go, they would be 100 times as crazy to let Kyle Larson go. This 24-year-old has already emerged as NASCAR’s top driver. While a two-car team may not be the strongest option for him, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and it sure ain’t broke despite Larson’s recent struggles. Larson also wants to drive in the Indianapolis 500 one day, which is something that Chip Ganassi could make a reality given the fact that he owns one of the top IndyCar teams as well.. Hendrick Motorsports. Chevrolet. CHASE ELLIOTT. #24. [Initial Prediction: Chase Elliott] — Chase Elliott will drive the #24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the 2018 season. There is nothing left to speculate.

Hendrick Motorsports. Chevrolet. JIMMIE JOHNSON. #48. [Initial Prediction: Jimmie Johnson] — Jimmie Johnson will drive the #48 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the 2018 season. There is nothing left to speculate.

#88. [Initial Prediction: Alex Bowman] — Alex Bowman will drive the #88 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the 2018 season. There is nothing left to speculate.. Hendrick Motorsports. Chevrolet. ALEX BOWMAN
