Lewis Hamilton is tired of the all the talk about how he could win this year’s Formula One championship this weekend in the United States Grand Prix.

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, 32, is a three-time Formula One champion, and he has a chance to turn that three into a four this season, as he currently leads the drivers standings by 59 points over Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel with just four races to go on the 2017 schedule.

With a maximum of 100 points on the table in the four remaining races of the season for each driver since a win is worth 25 points, Hamilton’s path to winning this year’s championship seems to be pretty clear. The odds of him not winning it are extremely low.

In fact, there are two possible scenarios by which Hamilton can clinch his fourth career Formula One championship this weekend in the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The big question has become whether or not he will be able to do so.

However, that question is not one that Hamilton himself is particularly fond of. Here is what he had to say about the prospects of winning his fourth career Formula One title this weekend in the United States Grand Prix.

"“Honestly I think the talk of the championship win this weekend is silly really. You can’t expect them (Ferrari) to have a difficult weekend again. They’re going to be quick.”“We’ve got an opportunity to win the championship, as long as it’s done in the next four races that’s my focus. I honestly couldn’t care whether it was here or the last race. As long as it’s done.”"

Hamilton wrapped up his third career Formula One championship at Circuit of the Americas in the United States Grand Prix two years ago even with still three races remaining on the 2015 schedule. He has won the last three races at the track and four of the five races held at the track since the United States Grand Prix was moved to the course back in the 2012 season.
