Homestead-Miami Prediction #1 – Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin are not done…

It’s rare for me to yell at my television screen during a race, but that for sure happened on Sunday. Of course, I was more or less cheering when Chase Elliott pinched Denny Hamlin up against the wall. However, I yelled even more when the camera switched over to show Denny Hamlin’s tire go down and him hit the wall. Fortunately, I am sure I wasn’t the only one who shares this.

Both Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott had their own take following the race on what happened. Elliott basically just said he was going to race people how they race him. Hamlin, on the other hand, said  ”It just proves to the people who thought I was a bad guy that he would do the exact same thing under the same circumstances.”

I really don’t see their rivalry going away that quickly. This is especially the case when you consider Denny Hamlin as a driver. Hamlin the driver who thinks he should be paid more while probably making this statement from his million-dollar home. If Chase Elliott or Denny Hamlin get close to one another, expect to see them trade paint on Sunday.
