The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta was one to remember. A race dominated by Kyle Busch led to a surprise winner.

It was an interesting start of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race to say the least. Kyle Busch led for most of the first stage until a debris caution came out. Busch and Matt Crafton led the field on the restart, but Noah Gragson spoiled the party. He passed both drivers and won stage one.

Stage two wasn’t much different. Busch led for a majority of the stage, and this time he didn’t lose it. He was in complete command of the race.

Busch looked like he was going to run away with the race. Johnny Sauter took over second place and tried to make a run at Busch. He closed the gap to within 1.1 seconds before Busch pulled away again.

With seven laps remaining, a caution came out. Josh Reame spun and collected Cody Coughlin. All the drivers on the lead lap wanted tires for a green-white-checkered finish. Busch entered pit road as the leader, but he had trouble on his pit stop. His front tire changer had trouble with the right front tire. He had so much trouble that the rear tire changer was working on the left side of the car. The pit stop was taking too long, and Busch left just after the rear tire changer took off the lugnuts on the rear tire. Just after Busch left pit road, his left rear tire fell off his truck. This immediately took him out of contention after dominating the race. The fans cheered, knowing his chances of winning were done.

With two laps to go, Johnny Sauter assumed the race lead. Sauter didn’t have the lead for very long. Brett Moffitt went three-wide into turn one and came out as the race leader. He pulled away and earned his second career Truck Series victory.
