The start of the 2018 Formula One season is almost here. How do the 10 teams stack up against each other as they prepare for it?

While it may seem like the 2017 Formula One season just came to an end, the 2018 Formula One season is now just right around the corner. With the eight-month season quickly approaching, which teams sit atop the preseason team power rankings?

Like they have in each of the last four seasons, Mercedes dominated the 2017 constructors championship. However, their total of 12 victories in the 2017 season was their lowest total over their current four-year streak of winning constructors titles.

With that in mind, will Mercedes continue their dominant stretch of seasons and add a fifth consecutive constructors championship, or will another team or teams catch up to them? With the expected rise of Ferrari and maybe even Red Bull Racing, both scenarios are very possible.

How will the highly anticipated battle for 4th place in the constructors standings go? Will Force India prevail once again, or will teams such as Williams, Renault or McLaren challenge them for the spot given the fact that they appear poised to improve in 2018?

Here are the preseason team power rankings for the 2018 Formula One season.
