IndyCar may still be waiting for their second race of the season to get underway at ISM Raceway, but many drivers and teams cranked up the social media today.

They say the waiting is the hardest part. For IndyCar teams, drivers, and fans, the wait is almost over for the second race of the season to get underway at ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona next Saturday, April 7.

The drivers of the Verizon IndyCar Series have not raced since the season opener on Sunday, March 11, which was held on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. The race was won by four-time Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais.

But for now, many get to enjoy some deserved time off, spending time with family and friends over the Easter holiday weekend.

Whether traveling to far away places or just hanging at home with the kids, the open-wheel aces enjoyed their time away from the track.
