The 2018 Formula 1 season has only just begun, but it is never too early to start looking ahead. Which drivers will be driving for which teams in 2019?

The 2018 Formula 1 season has only just gotten started, but there is already talk about what the 2019 season’s lineup will look like. In fact, there has been talk about the 2019 lineup for quite a while now, especially with how the 2018 silly season shaped out.

A total of 15 drivers returned to their full-time rides from the 2017 season in the 2018 season. Of the five that didn’t, three are still driving, but they are doing so full-time for teams they did not drive full-time for in the 2017 season. The other two full-time drivers from the 2017 season were replaced by rookies.

The 2018 silly season looked like it was going to be a crazy one, but it ended up not being full of a whole lot of change, at least not to the extent that change was speculated. There is, however, a chance that the 2019 silly season could produce change beyond the amount of expected change in the 2018 silly season.

That said, of course, there could end up being hardly any movement across the grid, especially among the top teams in the sport. In fact, all eight of the drivers who finished in the top eight in the drivers standings last season stayed put for this season despite the fact that there were rumors swirling around several of them regarding possible new destinations in the 2018 season.

With all of this in mind, here is our way-too-early prediction for the 2019 Formula 1 driver lineup.

NOTECar numbers may not be accurate. For drivers replacing other drivers, the car numbers used are the car numbers that are currently used by the drivers who are projected to be the replacements for the other drivers. If a replacement is not currently a full-time Formula 1 driver, their number used in a recent Formula 1 race or test is used.

We will start off with the lineup prediction for Alfa Romeo Sauber for the 2019 season.
