Will Power became the fourth different winner in five races in the 2018 IndyCar season by winning the IndyCar Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Where do the 20 full-time driver stack up against one another?

Team Penske’s Will Power joined Dale Coyne Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais, Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi and his Team Penske teammate Josef Newgarden as drivers who have won at least one race so far in the 2018 IndyCar season when he won the IndyCar Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana.

Power’s victory at the 13-turn, 2.439-mile road course was just the fourth top five finish by a Chevrolet driver so far this season. Meanwhile, Honda drivers have taken 21 of the 25 combined top five positions in 2018.

However, while this statistic would seem to heavily favor the Honda drivers over the Chevrolet drivers, all four of the top five finishes by Chevrolet drivers have been top two finishes, and all have been recorded by Team Penske drivers.

Power has been responsible for two of those top two, and top five, finishes. In addition to his victory in Indianapolis, he finished in second place on the streets of Long Beach, California. Newgarden has been responsible for the other two of those top two, and top five, finishes with his wins at ISM Raceway and Barber Motorsports Park.
