Justin Allgaier won for the second time in 14 races so far in the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season by winning at Iowa Speedway.

JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier won for the seventh time in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career by winning the American Ethanol E15 250 at the four-turn, 0.875-mile Iowa Speedway oval in Newton, Iowa on Sunday evening.

Allgaier’s victory in his #7 Chevrolet was his second victory of the 2018 Xfinity Series season, and it was his second victory in the last five Xfinity Series races, as he also won the OneMain Financial 200 at the four-turn, 1.0-mile Dover international Speedway in Dover, Delaware in early May.

Allgaier, who started the American Ethanol E15 250 in 11th place, won both stage one and stage two of it, and he led 182 of its 250 laps in a dominant performance. The 32-year-old held off second place finisher Christopher Bell, the rookie who drives the #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, by 0.745 seconds to take the victory.
