Looking for improvement

Renault Sport driver Carlos Sainz Jr. had an opportunity to bring home a significant haul of championship points after flourishing in the rain and qualifying in a massively impressive fifth place. Unfortunately, as the race began to unwind, he fell back four positions before the checkered flag waved. He finished in ninth and scored two championship points.. No. 55. Renault Sport, Renault. C-. Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Brendon Hartley nearly managed to score points during the Hungarian Grand Prix. He qualified in eighth place, but once the race got going, he found himself moving backwards. He finished one position outside of the points in 11th.. No. 28. Scuderia Toro Rosso, Honda. Renault Sport driver Nico Hulkenberg qualified in 13th place and was looking for an opportunity to extend his points lead as the “best of the rest” in the mid-pack. He was unable to move forward after the start and only managed to move up a single position when frontrunner Max Verstappen retired with an MGU-K failure. He finished in 12th, bringing in no points.. No. 9. Alfa Romeo Sauber, Ferrari. MARCUS ERICSSON. D+. Alfa Romeo Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson struggled for pace in qualifying and during the race. He qualified in 14th place and fell back one position to finish in 15th. He will be looking for renewed pace after the summer break.

D-. Williams Martini Racing driver Sergey Sirotkin qualified in 19th place and managed to move up to 16th thanks to the retirements of three other drivers.
