The 2018 NASCAR Truck Series regular season is in the books, and the playoffs are set to get started next Sunday. Here is the full playoff schedule.

GMS Racing’s Johnny Sauter closed out the 2018 NASCAR Truck Series regular season with his fifth victory of the season in the UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

By winning this race in his #21 Chevrolet, the 40-year-old Truck Series veteran, who has driven in the series full-time since the start of the 2009 season, sealed the regular season championship.

With Sauter’s victory and the rest of the action from the four-turn, 0.533-mile (0.858-kilometer) Bristol Motor Speedway oval in Bristol, Tennessee, the playoff field, which consists of eight drivers, is set.

Following the 16th and final regular season race of the season, Sauter and the rest of the field had their point totals reset to 2,000 before the playoff point totals that they have earned throughout the course of the season so far were added to their respective point totals.

These eight drivers can continue to add to their playoff point totals by winning playoff races and stages in playoff races, although playoff points will not matter once the Championship 4 rolls around since the four drivers who advance to the Championship 4 will not be able to apply them to their overall point totals.

Only the three-round, seven-race playoffs remain before the 2018 Truck Series champion will be crowned, so let’s look at when each of these seven pivotal playoff races are scheduled to be held.

The playoffs are scheduled to begin next Sunday, August 26, and they are scheduled to go through Friday, November 16. Here is a round-by-round schedule.
