Best overtake: Daniel Ricciardo on Valtteri Bottas (China)

You know what they say, sometimes you have just got to lick the stamp and send it.

Props to Valtteri Bottas for leaving just enough room, allowing Daniel Ricciardo to get the pass done. A late move in the breaking zone, or any lesser talented driver, would have caused a massive collision.

Honorable mention: Sebastian Vettel on Valtteri Bottas (Britain)

Sebastian Vettel had played several laps of cat-and-mouse with Bottas following the race restart, then he eased off for a couple of corners before surprising the Finn with an extraordinary late lunge into Brooklands, securing the race victory.

Best race: 2018 British Grand Prix

Four-way fight for the win? Say no more. Best 15 or so laps of the season so far.

Honorable mention: 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

The streets of Baku are synonymous with guaranteed chaos.

Ricciardo plowed into Max Verstappen, Romain Grosjean hit the wall under the safety car, Vettel botched an overtake for the lead, then Bottas suffered a puncture with three laps remaining, which handed the win to Lewis Hamilton. Insane.

Best victory: Lewis Hamilton in Germany

It really does not get much better than going from 14th place on the grid to the top step of the podium.

Honorable mention: Daniel Ricciardo in China and Monaco

The Honey Badger’s drive to win in Shanghai after a fantastic strategy call in response to a safety car period was spectacular. But he had never won a dull race until he had one of the greatest (and slowest) drives at Monte Carlo, ever.
