Rumors are circulating that Kurt Busch will leave Stewart-Haas Racing at the end of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season. Where will he end up in 2019?

Last month, a rumor began to circulate about Kurt Busch, who is in his 18th season as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver and his fifth season driving for Stewart-Haas Racing. This rumor revolved around the idea that the 40-year-old Las Vegas, Nevada native would depart from Stewart-Haas Racing after the 36-race 2018 season comes to an end.

In this year’s 26-race regular season, which came to an end on Monday with the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard, Busch racked up one victory, four top five finishes, 17 top 10 finishes and three pole positions. His lone victory of the regular season came in the August race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Busch sat in fourth place in the regular season championship standings before the playoffs began. He now sits in a sixth place tie in the standings as a result of his 14 playoff points, but he sits just five points out of fourth.

With Busch’s future being anything but certain given the fact that nothing has been confirmed regarding the rumor that he will leave Stewart-Haas Racing yet this rumor is still floating around, for which team might he end up driving in the 2019 season? Here are three possible landing spots for him.
