The Daytona 500 is just a few days away! With a garage full of changes and change on the horizon, let’s take a look at the top five storylines heading into the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season!

Howdy, NASCAR fans! The 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season is just days away, as teams are preparing for the most famed race on the schedule, the Daytona 500! With the Advance Auto Parts Clash in the books, it’s time to look at some of the biggest question marks heading into the new season!

With multiple driver changes, new technical alliances and a revamped aero package, the 2019 season could look completely different than seasons past.

Thinking positively, the upcoming season could be one of the best in recent memory if NASCAR‘s new technology can accomplish the goal of creating closer racing. Even without a new aero package, there are so many storylines to consider heading into the new season, and that’s what I’m here to lay out today!

Before we get going, I do want to hand out a few honorable mentions.

The first one is the fate of Richard Petty Motorsports. I wrote on this topic last month, and you can read that article here. This iconic team currently sit at a crossroads as they try to stay afloat in the Cup Series garage and groom a talented youngster in Darrell Wallace Jr.
